At Reiter & Walsh ABC Law Centers, we believe that it is important that those who have been diagnosed with cerebral palsy have easy access to information and resources for their conditions. Region-specific cerebral palsy resources can sometimes be difficult to find; we sought to consolidate these resources into a single guide for ease of use. We suggest that people with cerebral palsy diagnoses connect with local and regional service providers; we have compiled a list of city-specific organizations for this purpose. 1. Health Care
Healthcare Centers
- Select Medical provides medical care to diverse populations across Michigan, including rehabilitation and treatment for spinal cord injury, neurological issues, and pediatric care.
Lifestyle Resources
1. Education
- Child Care Resources 4 Kids assists in the provision of child care and early education in Allegan, Barry, Berrien, Branch, Calhoun, Cass, Kalamazoo, Saint Joseph, and Van Buren Counties.
- The Michigan Department of Education’s Office of Early Childhood Education and Family Services provides a program called ‘Early On’ as a system of intervention with developmental delays.

- Living Alternatives for the Developmentally Disabled (LADD) provides services and supports for individuals with disabilities in Berrien, Cass, Calhoun, Oakland and Van Buren Counties.

This includes information regarding transportation, employment, independent living support, and assistive technologies.
