- South Lake School District is another St. Clair Shores, Michigan school district providing special education services to students. The South Lake School District Special Services Department facilitates Child Find, Individual Education Plans (IEPs), the Early Child Special Education Program, pre-school speech and language services, Macomb Intermediate School District center programs, information and referral services, and more.

4. Housing Resources
- Homes of Opportunity, located in St. Claire Shores, Michigan, provides supports, service coordination, community employment services, community living services, and social opportunities to developmentally disabled adults. 5. Transportation
- The City of St. Clair Shores, Michigan Transportation Services provides transportation for all residents with special needs or disabilities. Organized by the Senior Activities Center, St. Clair Shores’ transportation services operate four wheelchair-equipped buses and provide curbside transit services Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- The St. Clair Shores SMART Bus Service provides curbside, advanced reservation transit services to all residents with disabilities in accordance with ADA standards.

1. Interdisciplinary Therapy Programs

6. Behavioral Therapy and Emotional Counseling
Henry Ford Medical Center—East Jefferson, located in St. Clair Shores, oversees the Henry Ford Center for Autism and Developmental Disabilities (CADD) program. The Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) program offered through Henry Ford CADD aims to diagnose and improve behavioral and emotional issues in patients with Autism Spectrum Disorders and/or developmental disabilities. Targeted skills within the program include self-help and self-care, gross and fine motor skills, visual and perceptual abilities, listening and responding, imitation, social skills, play skills, and communication and speech skills.
